Mark Chagall

 Marc Chagall (1887-1985) was a Russian-Jewish painter of the 20th Century and one of the best known representatives of the Russian Avant-Garde in the West. Chagall painted in a style all his own, combining elements of Expressionism, Symbolism, Cubism and, to a lesser degree, other Modernist art movements. A prolific and multi-faceted artist, Chagall left behind him thousands of works in many different techniques and media that have established him as one of the foremost artists of the 20th Century.
 

Kasimir Malevich
 
Kazimir Malevich, also Kasimir (1878-1935) was a Russian avant-garde painter . Malevich is one of Russia's best-known modern painters. Hi  is considered to be the pioneering co-founder of abstract art. Malevich developed a form of non-objective painting which he called Suprematism
El Lissitzky

Lazar Markovich Lissitzky, (1890 –1941), better known as El Lissitzky was a Russian artist, designer, photographer, teacher, typographer, and architect. He was one of the most important figures of the Russian avant garde, helping develop suprematism with his friend and mentor, Kazimir Malevich.

Wassily Kandinsky

 Wassily Kandinsky , (1866-1944). Russian-born painter, printmaker, designer, teacher, and writer, who became a German citizen in 1927 and a French citizen in 1939, one of the most important figures in the development of abstract art, as a theoretician as well as a practitioner.
